Sometimes the world bamboozles me beyond belief. Recent examples cited below....
1) Why do people care if Paris Hilton goes to jail or not and has her butler and dog foofoo there with her? Why are we as a society, taking polls and having call in shows about this ridiculous excuse for a human being? People are dying, wars are continuing, children are starving, and THIS IS THE NEWS?!?
2) Why did Ocean City decide that the BEST time to expand the 9th street bridge is during the summer TOURIST season? Why, oh why oh why?
3) Have you ever looked at a kiwi? I mean REALLY looked at one? What is going on with that fruit? It is the most bizarre shade of green first off, shaped like an egg, and it has a coat of fur! Dont' even get me started once you cut it open...
4) Why are shows like "One Tree Hill" on TV for 100 years, but absolute genius Mystery Science Theater 2000 taken off the air?
5) Since when did a date become "having a drink" and then expecting sex? This is a date? I mean, ok, I get it - the 60's happened, women tripped on acid, burned their bras, danced naked at shows blah blah blah. But I'm not so "revolutionized" that I'm going to do the horizontal mambo with a stranger. If your goal is getting in my pants pronto, at least buy me dinner. I'm more in the mood when my belly is full.
6) Why did more people vote for American idol than our last presidential election?
7) Where did piggy banks come from? Why a pig? Were pigs signs of wealth? greed? I can not for the life of me understand why someone decided to make a ceramic pig and put money in it.
8) How is it possible that someone is making a "Hostel 2" movie. Why was the first one was even made? Is there no limit to the amount of gore we will endure in the stupid name of art? Does anybody recognize that sensationalism/shock is a cheap shot, an cop-out attempt to make up for real talent? When will people realize that people-trafficing is REAL and does the the BIGGEST business is OUR country? When will we as a society stop supporting movies who glorify these horrors and give these sickos more twisted ideas?

10) And lastly, what exactly IS a gummi bear?
