Inspired by a six year old child’s will to express the outrage she felt as a result of her discovery of the horrors that occur in the aids ridden societies of Africa, Glenn Marais dug deep into the very foundation of his soul to compose what he felt into a flow of reality that shakes the heart awake.

It is so wonderful to see selflessness in today’s worldly chaos and it’s also refreshing to be able to identify with people who feel as strongly as this regarding these issues that a lot of us wish we could fix in a day, especially since we have no idea how to identify with the millions of people that are plagued by this horrible disease.

This single is comprised of three tracks, Like a Child in its accentuated form, its acoustic version and its instrumental layer. It was created for the purpose of generating awareness, providing a message in the form of musical expression, and to populate a donation box with a much needed chance for the development of a cure.

Please do consider the thought of giving up a luxury that is unintentionally taken for granted, a small portion of something you may have an abundance of, or something that comes from your heart, for the sake of those who are suffering in the shades of what darkens their lives.

Proceeds from the sale of this single go to a charity called “Cuddle the Orphans“ toward the ever present battle to find a cure for aids.
